Earnings

You set the rate. We charge no markup.

Every golfer on Closers sets their own per-round rate. There is no platform commission taken from your earnings in the current version. What you charge is what you receive.

You can also set an optional hourly rate for engagements that include structured on-course coaching, listed as a Playing Lesson occasion type.

Payment is currently arranged directly between you and the host after the booking is accepted. Online payments are coming to the platform.

What we look for

What makes a strong application

Closers accepts five credential tiers. Within each tier, we look for verifiable evidence, not résumé polish. Below is what a complete application includes for each track.

Tour Professional

  • Active or recent tour card (PGA Tour Americas, Korn Ferry, Mackenzie, regional tours)
  • Documented tournament results
  • Professional membership in good standing

Mini-Tour Professional

  • Mini-tour wins or competitive finishes
  • Consistent scoring record on verified mini-tour events
  • Professional status documentation

PGA Club Professional

  • PGA membership or apprenticeship status
  • Club affiliation and working history
  • Competitive record where available

D1 College Alum

  • D1 program alumni status
  • Collegiate playing record
  • Handicap index at or near scratch

Elite Amateur

  • State, regional, or national amateur titles
  • Consistent competitive amateur record
  • Handicap index of +1 or better preferred

Our standard

The four steps every applicant completes

  1. Credential verification

    Tour cards, results, and amateur records are confirmed directly through official databases, not self-reported.

  2. Playing-ability review

    We review your competitive scoring history and tournament record to confirm you play at the level you list.

  3. Concierge interview

    A structured interview covering communication style, client-service orientation, and discretion standards.

  4. Ongoing review

    Post-round ratings are collected after every engagement. Consistent excellence is required for continued listing.

  • Your profile goes live and begins appearing in host searches.
  • Accept only the requests that work for your schedule and location.

Your profile photos matter

Closers hosts book based on what they see. Clear, high-resolution images (action shots on course, portrait-quality headshots) make a measurable difference in booking rate.

  • On-course settings preferred: tee box, fairway, green
  • Up to 8 photos per profile
  • Natural light; avoid heavy filters
